Burundi is back! The new crops have arrived, and the roast room is buzzing with this exotic bean. The complex fruit notes and lasting body found in the cup made this one of our most beloved coffees of 2023. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have it back!
Behind the bean:
This lot comes from small holder coffee farmers in Teka Hill, Burundi. It is one of the highest growing coffee regions in the country, and the conditions here are ideal for growing specialty grade beans. The beans are processed at the Teka Hill washing station.
