What's it all mean?

Slàinte (slawn-chá) is an old Irish expression that translates roughly to “good health.” This March we toast to your and yours with our St. Patrick’s Day Blend.

Behind the bean:

This year, we have a special Colombian coffee from the volcanic soils of Huila. We roasted the beans at three different temperatures for perfect balance and rested them in peat-smoked barley malt for several days.

The result is a cup that is both smoky and slightly sweet, with an aroma reminiscent of oaky Irish whiskey.
