What's it all mean?

The lake effect snowstorms of Northeast Ohio found their way into our winter seasonal blend. Long, dark days, grey skies, and relentless snow were the inspiration behind Lake Effect. We set out to create a coffee that feels like shelter from the storm, something warm, grounding, and dependable when winter is at its heaviest.

Full bodied and comforting, this blend opens with smooth milk chocolate and bright orange zest, followed by subtle evergreen notes that linger through the finish. There is a quiet complexity here, balancing richness with freshness, designed to feel cozy without becoming heavy.

Lake Effect is built for cold mornings and slow starts. It shines in pot brewers, pour overs, and French presses, delivering a cup that is steady, warming, and endlessly drinkable.

Lake Effect is proudly roasted on the shores of Lake Erie in Cleveland, Ohio, where winter makes itself known. While we are digging out cars and shoveling sidewalks, this blend reminds us of warmer places and brighter days, bridging the gap between where we are and where we would rather be.
